IconMaker is a local-first macOS app for creating and exporting app icon designs. We aim to collect as little information as possible.

Information the app stores

IconMaker stores your designs, backups, preferences, saved colors, and related app settings locally on your Mac so the app can function properly.

Files you choose to import or export

When you import images or design files, or export PNGs or JSON/design sets, IconMaker only accesses the files and folders you explicitly choose through standard macOS file pickers.

Data collection

IconMaker does not require an account, and this website version assumes the app does not collect personal data, analytics, tracking information, or advertising identifiers.

Third-party services

IconMaker does not rely on third-party cloud services to create or edit your designs. If you add third-party services later, update this policy before release.

Support requests

If you contact support by email, you may choose to share information such as your email address, screenshots, exported files, and system details. That information is used only to respond to your request and improve support.
